“The only thing two acting instructors can agree on is that the third one is doing it wrong.”
Kevin Kemp is a classically trained actor/director/acting instructor who is extremely well-versed in Stanislavski and Meisner’s approaches to creating a role. David Ihrig has been collaborating with neuroscientists to develop a brain-based approach for actors.
The two offer their distinct perspectives on the challenges actors face and their respective solutions for overcoming those challenges in a discussion that will compare working with ‘super-objectives and actions’ to ‘Memory Design and stimulus.’
